  • Maintain Competency: Stay up-to-date with the latest techniques and technologies in sterile compounding, ensuring you remain competent in your role.
  • Medication Management: Participate in the ordering, receiving, and maintenance of medications and supplies, ensuring accurate and timely inventory management.
  • Troubleshoot Equipment Issues: Identify and resolve equipment, hardware, and software problems related to compounding, minimizing downtime and ensuring continuity of service.
  • Cleaning and Monitoring: Participate in completing and documenting cleaning and monitoring activities for sterile compounding areas, adhering to daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning requirements.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the team to triage and respond to compounding needs promptly, ensuring seamless service delivery.
  • Ongoing Training: Engage in ongoing didactic and practical training related to sterile compounding, staying current with industry developments and best practices.
Requirements
  • Active Pharmacy Technician License: Hold an active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician License in the state of Texas.
  • Experience in Sterile Compounding: Possess at least 1 year of consistent experience in sterile compounding.
  • Certified Compounded Sterile Preparations Technician (CSPT) Certification: Hold a CSPT certification.
  • Flexible Schedule: Be able to work a flexible schedule, including 8-hour shifts between 7am-7pm weekdays with rotating weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Possess the ability to work independently to solve high-stakes problems.
  • Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) Certification: Hold a PTCB certification.
Physical Requirements
  • Standing and Lifting: Be able to stand for up to 8 hours with intermittent breaks and lift up to 30 pounds.
  • Climbing and Ladders: Be able to climb stairs and ladders.
