Responsibilities

As a Construction Intern, you will assist in the coordination of on-site construction and engineering activities for construction projects. You will interpret design/drawings, specifications, submittals, and other construction documents. You will also assist Superintendents, Project Managers, Engineers, and Coordinators with project-related technical and logistical functions, including subcontractor and supplier planning/administration, work assignments, etc.

You will interface with on-site departments as required to resolve problems, ensure quality of construction, etc. in support of overall project schedule.

Qualifications

To be eligible for this internship, you must be enrolled in a construction-related degree program (Engineering EE, ME, CE, Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or related degree program) at an accredited college/university. Prior construction experience or military service is a plus.

You should have knowledge of technology, computers, and software, including standard MS Office applications.
