Merchandise Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Merchandise Handler to join our team at True Value Company, LLC. As a key member of our distribution center, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth flow of merchandise through our warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Unload merchandise from trailers, verifying goods received against purchase orders or invoices.
- Stack and load cartons and other containers for outbound shipment, and stock shelves with goods received.
- Maintain and verify records of goods received or shipped to facilitate the flow of merchandise through the distribution center.
- Operate power equipment to move merchandise, and utilize small hand tools, pallet handlers, and hand trucks as needed.
- Select and pick product for shipment from paper or computerized store order requests, matching inventory to order numbers.
- Prepare merchandise for shipping using shrink wrap machine or other devices.
Requirements
- GED, High School Diploma, or equivalent work experience.
- 0-1 years of experience in Distribution, Warehouse, Supply Chain, or similar industry.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
Work Environment
Our distribution center is a fast-paced and dynamic environment where you will work with a team to ensure the efficient flow of merchandise. You will be exposed to heat, cold, and may work indoors and/or outdoors.
Travel
Travel may vary in length and duration.
