Job Title: Automotive Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team at Uftring Chevrolet. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and servicing various types of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Stay up-to-date with industry knowledge and training to ensure the highest level of service.
  • Utilize problem-solving skills daily to diagnose and repair complex automotive issues.
  • Collaborate with other team members and departments to provide a seamless customer experience.
  • Accurately document work performed and technical information.
  • Review vehicle history files and test drive with customers when necessary.
  • Maintain regular attendance at shop meetings.
Qualities for Success:
  • Prior service experience or education is preferred.
  • Good knowledge of various make and model vehicles.
  • A friendly, positive attitude with a professional appearance.
  • Good attendance record.
  • Strong time management, organizational, and communication skills are essential.
  • Possess a valid IL driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
