Job Summary:

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong background in mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial equipment and systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing advanced level of expertise in responding to work orders, troubleshooting, and providing preventive and corrective maintenance on the facility mobile equipment and lifting systems in an industrial manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot ventilation equipment, pneumatic and/or hydraulic systems, pumps, bearing failures, compressors, etc. in an industrial environment.
  • Perform heavy equipment operation as needed in support of various site support functions and needs.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and perform required preventive maintenance actions such as lubrication, cleaning, filter changes, etc. of mobile equipment.
  • Assist in the movement of machines/fixtures, materials, and equipment as required.
  • Perform basic pipefitting repairs.
  • Troubleshoot and repair basic electrical issues.
  • Responds and provides service and feedback to the customer on all work orders while assuring compliance to codes, regulations and industry standards.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or demonstrated equivalent.
  • Five years of experience performing mechanical maintenance in an industrial environment or demonstrated equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to work in an aerial lift or scissor lift at heights up to 30 feet or higher.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent labor experience in industrial mechanical, HVAC, or related Facility Maintenance discipline.
  • Welding certification.
  • Experience with mobile/heavy equipment operations, and servicing.
  • Experience with building mechanical equipment operation, diagnostics and repairs.
  • Experience performing preventive maintenance on facility related equipment.
Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced industrial environment with varying temperatures, noise levels, and physical demands. The ability to work safely and follow proper safety guidelines is essential.
