Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Travel Nurses, Inc. in Orlando, FL. As a Registered Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide respiratory care to patients with a variety of conditions, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), pneumonia, and asthma.
  • Conduct pulmonary function tests, including spirometry and arterial blood gas analysis.
  • Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest respiratory care techniques and technologies.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in the state of Florida.
  • 1-2 years of experience in respiratory care, preferably in a hospital setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Basic life support (BLS) certification.
