Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Medical Imaging Specialist to join our team at Prisma Health. In this role, you will work under the direction of a radiologist or physician to perform limited radiographic procedures.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong understanding of radiologic equipment and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate radiologic equipment to make clinical diagnostic x-ray films as directed by care providers.
  • Perform routine diagnostic procedures, including positioning patients and adjusting equipment for taking x-rays.
  • Maintain x-ray exam rooms, stocking necessary medical and radiological supplies, and cleaning and making minor adjustments to radiologic equipment.
  • Deliver film to requesters for reading/interpretation and schedule radiologic exams to be performed at outside labs as necessary.
Requirements:
  • Associate's Degree in Radiology or equivalent experience.
  • SCRQSA license and ARRT certification for Radiology.
  • One year of physician practice experience preferred.
Estimated Salary Range:

$55,000 - $65,000 per year, based on location and experience.
