About the Job

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a vital role in our multidisciplinary team at Bel Aire Recovery Center. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will work under the direction of a qualified professional nurse to provide high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans, ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment.
  • Administer medications and perform vital signs, electrocardiograms, phlebotomy/labs, and diabetic/glucose monitoring as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in team conferences to share knowledge, ideas, and best practices among team members.
  • Document patient symptoms, responses, and progress accurately and thoroughly, following facility policy and procedures.
  • Provide coverage in emergency services as needed, ensuring prompt and effective response to patient needs.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an approved Licensed Practical/Vocational Nursing Program required.
  • One or more years' nursing experience within a clinical area of service provided by the facility preferred.
  • Knowledge of and experience with psychotropic medications and medication administration procedures required.
  • Valid current practical/vocational nursing license from the state or from a nurse compact state, where applicable.
  • CPR and de-escalation certification required (training available upon hire and offered by the facility).
