About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at Greer's Markets. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for supporting the department manager in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the store.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the department manager in maintaining inventory levels, pricing, shelf conditions, cleanliness, safety, and merchandising within the store.
  • Communicate and help execute the department manager's strategy to maximize sales and gross profit.
  • Ensure all new associates receive proper training and supervision.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date tags, including price changes, promotions, and advertisements.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a retail environment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
