Job Summary

The Sales Lead is a key member of our sales team responsible for promoting a customer-focused sales culture. This role involves supervising store associates, performing operational activities, and maintaining knowledge of current sales and promotions.

Responsibilities:
  • Drive for Results
    • Evaluate and communicate clear expectations to ensure brand, performance, and behavior standards are met.
    • Perform and oversee basic operational activities such as opening and closing duties, and merchandise flow processes.
    • Supervise associates engaged in sales, inventory receipt, reconciling cash receipts, or in performing services for customers.
    • Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions; present and display merchandise in accordance with current promotions and standards.
    • Develop a high-performance culture by motivating sales team to meet assigned sales and productivity goals.
  • Build High Performing Teams
    • Motivate and inspire store team, promoting a shared vision while modeling core values.
    • Promote an inclusive, collaborative approach to problem solving.
    • Communicate with store teams and Store Management to effectively lead positive change.
  • CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE
    • Model, teach, and promote the Most Amazing Personal Service (MAPS) principles and standards, offering a cohesive omni channel experience.
    • Recommend merchandise selections or help locate or obtain merchandise based on customer needs and desires.
    • Ensure prompt resolution of customer concerns.
    • Ensure a fast and efficient register experience, remaining current on policies regarding payments, coupon acceptance, returns and exchanges, security practices and other applicable operations.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ year retail or sales management experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication, verbal and written skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Able to learn or adapt to technology provided by the company.
  • Knowledge of administrative aspects of store operations.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation

Our part-time associates are eligible to participate in the Company's employee assistance program and employee discount program. Compensation for this position starts at $14.45/hour or city/local minimum wage as applicable.
