Veterinary Pathologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Veterinary Pathologist to join our team at the National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratory (NEIDL). The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting necropsies, generating comprehensive pathology reports, and participating in peer review.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct necropsies and document gross pathology findings
- Generate comprehensive and accurate pathology reports
- Participate in peer review and quality assurance
- Collaborate with research teams to develop diagnostic tests and treatments
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in the field of veterinary pathology
- D.V.M. (or equivalent) degree and board eligibility for American College of Veterinary Pathologists (ACVP) certification
- Strong knowledge of veterinary pathology and research methods
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
