Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Actalent. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient distribution of medications to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify patient information and physician authorization for accuracy and completeness.
  • Check all orders for insurance approval and process prescription refills in a timely manner.
  • Calculate correct dosage volumes and convert between metric and apothecary equivalents.
  • Assist Pharmacists in the safe distribution of medications and provision of pharmaceutical care.
  • Maintain a neat and clean workstation, and accurately process all orders.
  • Assist in maintaining the accuracy of software templates and follow all applicable government regulations.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a Data Intake Pharmacy.
  • Pharmacy Technician License.
