Job Title: Travel CT Technologist

Are you a skilled CT Technologist looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for a Travel CT Technologist to join our team at PSG Global Solutions Careers.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced CT Technologist to work with our clients in the Healthcare Systems and Services industry in Anchorage, Alaska, United States.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform CT diagnostic imaging procedures on patients of all ages to assist in the diagnosis of patient illness.
  • Locate and record internal elements of the body, and identify any anomalies indicative of disease, injury, or other medically significant conditions.
  • Adjust equipment and calm patients to eliminate test artifacts.
  • Monitor patients for potentially dangerous physical and emotional changes.
  • Evaluate test results for clarity and accuracy.
  • Review tests with peers and physician.
  • Inform physicians of preliminary findings as requested.
  • Distribute completed test results to physicians and service providers.
  • Prepare diagnostic information for physician interpretation.
  • Maintain patient charts, enter diagnosis and billing codes, log data into patient information systems, and update file systems for tests performed.
  • Clean and sterilize equipment and workspace.
  • Recognize equipment malfunctions and readjust equipment or write referrals for repair.
  • Instruct patients in pretest preparation, answer questions, and explain procedures.
  • Maintain equipment according to Infection Control procedure.
Requirements:
  • Clinical Radiographer background with a minimum of 2 years CT clinical experience required.
  • Valid ARRT license, registered in CT.
  • VIA experience a plus.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal needed.
  • Ability to interact with client personnel and team members in an autonomous responsible, professional and ethical manner.
  • Must be flexible, reliable and demonstrate sound judgment and initiative.
