THE ROLE:
As a Bartender, your primary responsibility will be to possess extensive knowledge of the beverage menu, including liquor brands, beers, and non-alcoholic options, while ensuring the bar's aesthetic appeal. You will create a welcoming atmosphere for guests, enhancing their experience with your friendly demeanor and service. By understanding their unique preferences and needs, you will take ownership of their experience, crafting MEMORABLE moments that they will cherish long after their visit.
STARTING COMPENSATION: $8.10 per hour
YOUR DAILY TASKS:
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, following standardized recipes and providing food service as necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment, tools, and supplies, ensuring everything is in optimal working condition; this includes upholding cleanliness, sanitation, and the overall appearance of the bar.
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of menu offerings, liquor brands, beers, and non-alcoholic selections available.
- Process transactions for beverages served, manage payments, and adhere to all cash handling procedures, including preparing daily reports and submitting required documentation.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to Apprentice Bartenders and Bar Porters on the overall operations of the bar, guest service, and bartending techniques.
- Manage bar inventory in accordance with established standards and internal controls, and request supplies to maintain adequate stock levels.
- Address guest concerns within your authority; otherwise, escalate issues to management, and inform supervisors and/or Security of any unusual occurrences, missing items, or suspected theft.
- Carry out additional job-related responsibilities as assigned.
