We are currently seeking a qualified Surgical Technologist to join our surgical suites team. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and contributing to the well-being of our patients.
Job DescriptionSurgical Suite OperationsThe successful candidate will be responsible for preparing the surgical suite, including setting up drapes, sterile solutions, instruments, equipment, and supplies. They will also ensure that all equipment and instruments are in good working order, ready for use during procedures.
- Pre-Surgery Preparation
- Transport patients to the operating room, position them correctly, and apply drapes as needed
- Verify the accuracy of instrument counts and maintain a sterile field throughout the procedure
During Surgery
Accurately pass instruments and supplies to the surgeon, maintaining a seamless workflowContinuously monitor the sterile field, ensuring its integrity and safetyPost-Surgery Tasks
Process specimens for laboratory deliveryRequired Skills and Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree in Surgical Technology or related field (desired)
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential (mandatory)
- At least 1 year of experience in a surgical setting (or equivalent education and experience)
- Strong understanding of surgical asepsis and sterile technique
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a high-functioning team
We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to your base salary, you can expect a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
