We are seeking a skilled Plumbing Installation and Maintenance Specialist to join our team at ABM Industries.

About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to start or return to their career in plumbing. As a Plumbing Installation and Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for performing a wide variety of tasks, including inspection, upkeep, and repair of plumbing systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Safely use hand and power tools to perform repairs, installations, and maintenance according to building codes, safety regulations, and best practices.
  • Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures.
  • Collaborate with general contractors, electricians, plumbers, HVAC technicians, and other construction professionals to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Follow building plans and blueprints to guarantee accurate installation and maintenance.
  • Respond to, diagnose, and resolve plumbing emergencies as directed by the plumber or foreperson.
  • Perform routine inspections of plumbing and drainage systems to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
  • Keep accurate records of work orders, detailed work progress, labor, and materials used.

Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • One (1) year of experience in the plumbing field required.
  • Must possess a valid, unexpired driver's license.
  • Must possess a journeyman electrician's license in the state, county, or city jurisdiction in which work will be performed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Three (3) years of experience in the plumbing field is preferred.

Salary: The estimated salary for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
