Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary operations at Rogers Behavioral Health Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing menus that meet the dietary needs of our patients, while also incorporating sustainable practices and maintaining high standards of compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead culinary operations, including menu development, food preparation, and presentation
  • Collaborate with registered dietitians and healthcare professionals to create menus that meet patient dietary needs
  • Develop and implement sustainable practices, such as reducing food waste and sourcing locally grown ingredients
  • Manage a team of culinary staff, including training, development, and scheduling
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and industry regulatory agencies
  • Manage forecasting, recipe costing, inventory, ordering, production, planning, schedules, payroll, and supplies to ensure budget compliance
Requirements
  • Associate's or bachelor's degree from an accredited culinary program
  • 5+ years of experience as a sous or executive chef in fine dining, hotels/resorts, country clubs, or healthcare/senior living
  • Computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, email, and ordering platforms
  • Passion for food, desire to grow, and work ethic that supports both
  • Willingness to relocate for promotion opportunities
