Job Summary

The Material Handler is a key member of our team, responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of materials within our plant, yard, or work site. This role requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive, process, and tag incoming materials
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels and perform cycle counting as directed
  • Deliver parts to areas in the plant where work is in process
  • Operate forklift trucks safely and efficiently
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Ability to work within a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and vendors
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move materials up to 25 pounds, and push/pull carts weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Availability to work in a variety of environments, including hot and cold temperatures, and exposure to heavy equipment and railcars
