Speech Language Pathologist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in providing exceptional therapy services to students in schools. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will conduct assessments to evaluate students' speech, language, and communication abilities, develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, and provide therapy services to students individually and in group settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct assessments to evaluate students' speech, language, and communication abilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings
  • Provide therapy services to students individually and in group settings
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' communication needs
  • Monitor students' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of therapy sessions and progress reports
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
  • State license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
