Job Title: Trailer Mechanic

STS Technical Services is seeking a skilled Trailer Mechanic to join our team in Charleston, South Carolina.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine inspections and repairs on trailers to ensure they are safe and operational.
  • Conduct diagnostic tests to identify and repair issues with air brake systems, suspension, landing gear, and other critical components.
  • Perform regular maintenance and servicing of equipment, including welding repairs and minor repairs on terminal tractors.
  • Document all repairs and maintenance activities in our maintenance software system.
  • Collaborate with other mechanics to ensure efficient and effective work processes.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Ability to obtain a TWIC card
  • Forklift operator certification preferred
