Position Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Java Backend Developer to fulfill an immediate need at DRISHTICON Inc. This role is structured as a long-term contract with a hybrid work model.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement software systems or applications for enhancements and new product offerings.
  • Refine and revise existing systems as necessary. Collaborate in establishing project timelines, implementation design specifications, system flow diagrams, and documentation.
  • Conduct testing and provide ongoing support for business systems.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive operational and system-level documentation.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required, along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in building scalable e-commerce applications.

Essential Skills:

  • Proficient in Java / JEE programming.
  • Experience with the Spring framework, Hibernate, or any ORM framework.
  • Familiarity with design patterns.
  • Knowledge of PowerBI and Azure Data Bricks.
  • Experience with technologies such as Servlets, JSP, JDBC, Web Services (REST), JPA, and JMS.
  • Experience with Kafka and NoSQL databases.
  • Expertise in the design and development of multi-tier systems.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps practices.
  • Understanding of cloud technologies, including Docker, Kubernetes, GCP, and Azure, is advantageous.
