- Manage the coordination of radiopharmaceuticals for patient procedures.
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals and medications for imaging and therapeutic purposes.
- Provide clear explanations of imaging procedures to patients.
- Uphold high standards of imaging and positioning to ensure quality scans.
- Demonstrate proficiency in utilizing the PACS Computer System.
- Support additional departmental activities as required.
Essential Requirements:
- Must hold registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (A.R.R.T.) with advanced certification in Nuclear Medicine or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (N.M.T.C.B.), or be a graduate of an accredited School of Nuclear Medicine Technology and be eligible for registry.
- If registry eligible upon hire, registration must be obtained within one year of employment and maintained throughout employment.
- Availability for 24-hour call back with a response time of 60 minutes is required.
