Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the coordination of radiopharmaceuticals for patient procedures.
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals and medications for imaging and therapeutic purposes.
  • Provide clear explanations of imaging procedures to patients.
  • Uphold high standards of imaging and positioning to ensure quality scans.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in utilizing the PACS Computer System.
  • Support additional departmental activities as required.
Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

  • Must hold registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (A.R.R.T.) with advanced certification in Nuclear Medicine or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (N.M.T.C.B.), or be a graduate of an accredited School of Nuclear Medicine Technology and be eligible for registry.
    • If registry eligible upon hire, registration must be obtained within one year of employment and maintained throughout employment.
  • Availability for 24-hour call back with a response time of 60 minutes is required.
