About the RoleThis is a full-time position that requires delivering high-quality patient-centered care in line with department and state standards. As a Registered Nurse Medical Renal, you will be responsible for assessing patient conditions, performing procedures, and providing exceptional care. You will also educate patients and families about medical conditions, treatment plans, and medications.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patient conditions during admission and each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
- Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical providers, ensuring thorough and timely documentation of care administration in the patient's medical record.
- Administer prescribed medications, monitor patients for therapeutic response, and take appropriate action in the event of an unintended response to medication.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, possible side effects, and follow-up measures, ensuring complete understanding by translating complex medical terminology.
To be eligible for this role, you must have:
- RN licensed in the State of Texas/Compact.
- BCLS certification.
- Current ACLS (Exception: NEW GRADUATE must obtain within six months from date of hire).
- Associates Degree or BSN.
The estimated annual salary for this position is around $85,000-$110,000, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a range of benefits, including comprehensive medical coverage, dental and vision benefits, 401(k) Plan with a 100% match on 3% to 9% of pay, employee stock purchase plan, and education assistance.
