We are seeking a highly skilled Auditor Accountant to join our team at the County of Butte California. As an Auditor Accountant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records.

• Conduct financial audits and examinations to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
• Review and analyze financial statements, reports, and other documents to identify areas of risk and non-compliance.
• Develop and implement corrective action plans to address identified issues.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in laws, regulations, and industry standards.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Professional certification (CPA, CMA, etc.) preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in auditing and accounting.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
