Job Title: Warehouse Loader

At Harvest Sherwood Food Distributors, we are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Warehouse Loader. As a key member of our warehouse operations team, you will be responsible for safely loading and unloading trailers, selecting orders, and scanning products to ensure accurate inventory tracking.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Safely operate a forklift to move raw materials or finished products to the warehouse or onto trucks for distribution to customers.
  2. Complete pre-trip inspections on forklifts to ensure safe operation.
  3. Palletize products for distribution to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
  4. Work collaboratively with the warehouse and operations teams to maximize output and efficiency.
  5. Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prefer two or more years of prior forklift experience with a solid safety record.
  • Prior exposure to manufacturing, preferably in the food or beverage industry, is desired.
  • Basic math and English reading skills are essential.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team with strong communication skills.
  • Demonstrate a sense of urgency and comfort working in a fast-paced environment.
