The Housekeeping Team Leader collaborates with the Assistant General Manager to oversee the
housekeeping and laundry services, ensuring that quality standards are upheld and exceptional service is delivered
to guests in alignment with the hotel's objectives. This role includes inspecting accommodations, training staff,
and performing cleaning tasks throughout the property. The Housekeeping Team Leader is accountable for providing
immaculate rooms for guests that adhere to the brand's standards for cleanliness and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Uphold the promise of outstanding service in all guest interactions. Manage operations in accordance with the
company's service standards and foster a culture of customer service excellence among all hotel staff.

• Collaborate with the Assistant General Manager to recruit, train, and evaluate team members, while making
recommendations for performance-related actions.

• Conduct thorough inspections of assigned rooms and public spaces to ensure cleanliness and maintenance meet
guest expectations. Provide feedback to staff on deficiencies and guide them on corrective measures.

• Assist in training new employees and ensure they are equipped with the necessary tools and resources to perform
their roles effectively.

• Help coordinate schedules and room cleaning assignments to ensure adequate coverage.

• Perform all necessary housekeeping tasks, including cleaning guest rooms and public areas to guarantee guest
satisfaction and meet ownership expectations.

• Work alongside the Assistant General Manager to manage inventory and maintain appropriate levels of linens and
room supplies.

• Oversee laundry supplies and equipment to ensure they are adequately stocked and operational.

• Manage the procedures for lost and found items.

• Promote teamwork and high-quality service through effective communication and collaboration with other shifts and
departments.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of two years of housekeeping experience, including some
supervisory experience.

• Experience in the extended stay sector is preferred.

• Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.

• Strong reading and writing skills are necessary for documentation, ordering supplies, and following instructions.

• Basic mathematical skills, including budgeting and understanding profit/loss concepts.

• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and training skills.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office is preferred.

• Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, bending, climbing, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive pay range between $19.00 to $23.00 per hour.
