Stockroom Associate

Emerald Technologies is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Stockroom Associate to support the daily operations of our stockroom. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate inventory levels and ensuring the smooth flow of materials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Kitting Materials: Assist in the accurate assembly of materials for production orders under the guidance of the Stockroom Manager.
• Shop Supplies/Repair Parts: Participate in timely delivery of shop supplies and repair parts to support uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
• Cycle Counting: Participate in routine cycle counting activities to maintain accurate inventory records and assist in resolving discrepancies.
• Labeling and Traceability: Create and apply labels for materials and assemblies to ensure proper identification and traceability.
• Warehouse Organization: Contribute to maintaining organized stockroom operations to optimize space utilization and facilitate efficient material flow.
• Purges and Reclasses: Assist in processing the purging and reclassification of materials as instructed to ensure quality standards and efficient inventory management.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a stockroom, warehouse, or similar environment is preferred.
• Basic understanding of inventory management principles and practices, preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow instructions.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic computer skills, able to efficiently navigate systems and input data.
• Effective communication skills to interact with team members and follow instructions from management.
