Key Responsibilities:
As a Fabricator at our Eau Claire location, your duties will include:
- Fabricating, drilling, and grinding bridge girder components
- Executing welding and assembly operations
- Performing clean-up and miscellaneous tasks as assigned
You will be expected to meet high production demands while delivering quality work with precision. Adherence to company policies is essential to maintain a safe workplace. Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
Technical Skills Required:
We seek candidates with:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in fabrication (preferred)
- At least 1 year of welding experience (a plus)
- A strong commitment to workplace safety and active participation in our safety culture
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and reliability in all tasks
- A willingness to learn and contribute to team success
Physical Requirements:
Applicants should be able to:
- Lift up to 75 lbs occasionally
- Push/move objects requiring up to 100 lbs of force
- Stand, walk, stoop, kneel, climb, and work at heights
- Exhibit good range of motion for reaching and bending
Working Environment:
This position involves working indoors in a spacious warehouse or outdoors in various weather conditions. Expect regular exposure to dirt, dust, paint fumes, noise, moving equipment, heavy steel, and other potential hazards. Personal protective equipment, including safety glasses, hearing protection, hard hats, and steel-toed boots, is mandatory; a respirator may be required for specific tasks.
