Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Imaging Technologist - CT/XRAY to join our team at AdventHealth Riverview. As a key member of our Diagnostic Imaging department, you will be responsible for performing CT and X-ray procedures, ensuring high-quality images, and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate CT and X-ray equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Assess patient conditions and prepare them for exams, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Administer contrast media and other substances as required for exams.
  • Review patient charts and requests to ensure accurate and complete diagnostic results.
  • Participate in quality control measures to ensure equipment is functioning properly.
  • Train and educate department personnel, including students, on imaging procedures and protocols.
Requirements
  • Formal training in radiology technology from an AMA-approved program.
  • Minimum of one year of radiologic experience.
  • Current FL Certified Radiologic Technologist license.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
  • 1 hour of stroke education within 6 months of hire date, then annually.
  • 1 hour of hip and knee surgery education within 6 months of hire date, then annually.
