About the Role

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for various tasks related to talent acquisition and recruitment. Their responsibilities include determining current staffing needs, developing talent acquisition strategies, leading employment branding initiatives, sourcing candidates for open positions, conducting recruitment processes, ensuring positive candidate experiences, and assisting in employee retention and development.

This role requires collaboration with the HR Director and department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria. The ideal candidate will have prior recruiting or human resources experience in the human services, social work, psychology, or related field.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field
  • At least 3-5 years of managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process
  • Prior recruiting or human resources experience in the human services, social work, psychology, or related field
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification preferred
