We are seeking a medical professional to provide hospitalist coverage in Michigan. As a hospitalist, you will be responsible for caring for patients who are admitted to the hospital and require close monitoring and treatment.
About the OpportunityThis is a locum tenens opportunity, meaning that you will be working on a temporary basis to cover the needs of the hospital. The duration of this opportunity is ongoing, with a schedule of 7 days on, 7 days off. You will work 8 hours a day, from 8am to 8pm.
ResponsibilitiesYour primary responsibility will be to care for patients who are admitted to the hospital. This will include assessing their condition, developing a plan of care, and implementing treatments as needed. You will also be responsible for rounding on patients, which involves checking on their condition and making any necessary adjustments to their care plan.
RequirementsTo be considered for this opportunity, you must have a valid license to practice medicine in the state of Michigan. You should also be board certified or board eligible in internal medicine or a related field. Additionally, you should have experience working as a hospitalist or in a similar role.
Work EnvironmentYou will be working in a hospital setting, where you will have access to all the necessary resources and support staff. The hospital uses the Cerner electronic medical record system, and you will be required to have proficiency in this system. Midlevels and residents will be available to assist you as needed.
