Job Summary:
Tribal Health, LLC is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team at Rosebud Hospital in South Dakota. As a locum tenens physician, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide emergency medical care to patients in a 10-bed ED with 1 Trauma Bay, 1 Triage Room, 5 Treatment Bays, and 3 Exam (Fast Track) Rooms
- Work in a 48-hour coverage schedule with 2 days of 7a-7p and 8a-8p shifts, and 2 nights of 7p-7a and 8p-8a shifts
- Collaborate with APCs to provide 36-hour coverage with 1 day of 7a-7p, 1 mid of 11a-11p, and 1 night of 7p-7a shifts
- Participate in a staffing matrix with Physicians and APCs to ensure seamless patient care
- Work in a hospital with a 19-bed Inpatient unit for basic medical/surgical and pediatric admissions with an average daily census of 6 patients
- Utilize electronic health records (EHR) through RPMS
Requirements:
- Board certification in Emergency Medicine
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
- Any state medical license is welcome
