Nurse Specialist

Forhyre is seeking a skilled Nurse Specialist to join our Labor and Delivery team in Bakersfield, CA. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to families during one of their most significant experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized plans of care based on patient needs and responses.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive care.
- Collect and document data for assigned patients according to prescribed methods.
- Interpret assessment data to identify physiological and/or psychosocial risk factors, recording and reporting variances from normal parameters.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
- Knowledge of Cerner EMR.
- Valid and unrestricted State of California Registered Nurse License (RN).
- Advanced NRP certification.
- AWHONN Advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) certification.
- AWHONN Maternal Fetal Triage Index (MFTI) certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Acute care, inpatient environment.
