Dietary Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Dietary Aide to join our team at Bethea Retirement Community. As a key member of our dining services department, you will play a vital role in ensuring our residents receive exceptional care and service.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and serving of meals to residents in a timely and efficient manner.
• Help maintain a clean and safe dining environment, adhering to all sanitary and safety policies and procedures.
• Restock supplies, maintain equipment, and perform daily cleaning duties as assigned.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents, responding to their needs and concerns in a respectful and professional manner.
• Collaborate with dietary staff to ensure smooth meal operations, including ordering supplies, managing inventory, and maintaining accurate records.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management to ensure the smooth operation of the dining services department.

Requirements:

• Demonstrate a strong commitment to customer service and resident satisfaction.
• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; previous experience in food service or a related field preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Willingness to work a varied schedule, including evenings and weekends.
