Job Summary:

As a skilled Express Lube Technician at Parkway Family Kia, you will be responsible for performing oil changes and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. You will work efficiently and accurately to meet dealership and factory standards, diagnosing and repairing any issues that arise. Effective communication with the parts department and service advisor is crucial to ensure seamless operations.

Essential Duties:
  • Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy
  • Diagnose and repair any malfunctions
  • Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts
  • Examine assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required
  • Communicate with service advisor immediately if additional work is needed
  • Document all work performed
  • Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training programs
  • Keep abreast of manufacturer technical bulletins
  • Supervise work of any apprentice technicians as assigned
  • Report machinery defects or malfunctions to supervisor
  • Ensure customers' cars are kept clean
  • Keep shop area neat and clean
  • Maintain and be accountable for all dealership-owned tools and manuals
  • Understand and comply with federal, state, and local regulations
  • Operate all tools and equipment in a safe manner
Requirements:
  • Reliable transportation to and from work
  • Ability to commute or relocate to Kingwood, TX
  • Monday to Friday schedule with occasional weekends as needed
  • Driver's License
