At Donatos Pizza, we're passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences. Our Delivery Drivers play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive their orders promptly and with a smile.

As a Delivery Driver, you'll spend a significant portion of your shift on the road, but also assist with tasks such as folding boxes, taking phone orders, and performing back-of-house duties. Successful drivers ensure all orders are accurate and delivered safely, efficiently, and effectively.

**Essential Requirements:**

  • A valid driver's license, clean driving record, and valid automobile insurance are mandatory.
  • Previous driver and/or customer service experience is beneficial but not essential.
  • You must be able to perform the essential functions of this position safely while meeting productivity standards.
  • Lifting up to 20 pounds consistently and up to 50 pounds occasionally is required.
  • Occasional bending and twisting may be necessary.

**Responsibilities and Duties:**

  • CHECK OUT AND DELIVER ORDERS.
  • Safely operate a motor vehicle.
  • Perform other in-store functions while not driving, such as folding boxes or other cross-functional associate-level duties.
  • Ensure the shift is ready for revenue by completing food prep, stocking, and pre-topping pizzas.
  • Set the next shift up for success by completing food prep, stocking prep-tables, and freezer pulls.
  • Clean and mop lobby, restrooms, and kitchen as needed.
  • Effectively communicate with customers, coworkers, and managers in person or over the telephone.
  • Take customer orders over the phone.
  • Accurately handle cash; give customer correct change, complete cash checkout directly after the shift with Manager.
  • Follow all food safety guidelines, including handwashing, illness reporting, and cleanliness.
  • Follow detailed food recipes while completing subs, pizzas, and salads for customers.
