As a Certified Veterinary Technician, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality medical, diagnostic, and laboratory services under the guidance of a licensed veterinarian.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform advanced medical procedures, including venipuncture, laboratory tests, and diagnostic imaging
  • Assist veterinarians in surgical procedures, including pre-medication, anesthesia, and post-operative care
  • Provide nursing care to patients, including medication administration and monitoring
  • Communicate effectively with clients, veterinarians, and other staff members regarding patient status and treatment plans
  • Prepare patients for discharge, including educating clients on home care and medication
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Current CACVT certification
  • At least 3 years of clinical veterinary hospital experience
  • Excellent listening and communication skills
  • Proficiencies in triage, patient restraint, medication administration, and venipuncture
  • Surgery skills, including dental prophylaxis, full-mouth dental radiographs, and anesthesia
