We are seeking a skilled Deli Cook to join our team at TooJay's Deli • Bakery • Restaurant. As a Deli Cook, you will play a critical role in preparing and serving our classic deli favorites to our guests.

• Prepare and cook a variety of deli meats, cheeses, and other ingredients to create delicious meals for our guests.
• Operate kitchen equipment, including microwaves, knives, steam tables, gas ranges, convection ovens, meat/bread slicers, check printers, kitchen display systems, scales, and automatic dishwashers.
• Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, including cleaning high-touch points and adhering to Covid-19 standards of cleanliness.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time to meet deadlines.
• Provide excellent customer service, including answering guest questions and resolving any issues that may arise.

• High school diploma or equivalent experience in a restaurant or related field.
• Ability to stand for long periods, exert up to 50 pounds, and maneuver safely throughout the kitchen.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings.
• Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues.
