Role Description: We are in search of a Program Management Specialist to join the Vision Pro team. This role involves collaborating with various teams to guarantee the delivery of high-quality products and operational success.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating within the new product introduction group alongside design, quality, testing, and global supply chain managers to ensure superior product quality and drive excellence in all our endeavors.
  • Possessing a comprehensive understanding of manufacturing trade-offs and providing Design for Assembly (DFA) insights to cross-functional teams.
  • Taking ownership of factory setup and overseeing technical operational functions related to manufacturing, including process design, assembly, automation, testing, and yield optimization.
  • Preparing executive-level status reports and presentations.
  • Ensuring operational excellence in establishing scalable and sustainable mass production processes.
  • Analyzing data and implementing measures for quality enhancement.


Minimum Qualifications:
A minimum of 3 years of experience in engineering and manufacturing, with the ability to travel internationally approximately 20-25% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications:
Significant experience in launching products into manufacturing, particularly in high-volume production and with international OEMs. Exceptional project management skills, particularly in areas such as Planning, Cost, and Delivery.

Experience in a matrixed organization is advantageous.
Experience in developing or commissioning custom assembly is a plus. Direct experience leading any of the following engineering teams is beneficial: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Packaging Engineering.
Strong communication skills in a global context are essential.
An understanding of tolerance stack-ups for assemblies and individual parts is important.

Engineering design knowledge and familiarity with GD&T principles are advantageous. Working knowledge of pneumatics, servomotors, PLC, and PC-based control systems is a plus.

Experience with JMP, Minitab, and Six Sigma methodologies is beneficial.

Compensation & Benefits:
At Apple, base salary is just one component of our comprehensive compensation package, which is determined within a specified range. This structure allows for growth and advancement as you develop within your role.

The base salary range for this position is between $122,300 and $184,600, with your specific salary dependent on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Employees at Apple also have the opportunity to become shareholders through participation in our discretionary employee stock programs.

Additionally, employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards and can purchase Apple stock at a discount through our Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
