We are seeking a skilled Medical Officer to join our team at our on-site direct care clinic in Tucson, AZ.
Job Summary:
- Provide direct medical care to client company employees and family members aged 2 and older.
- Offer episodic, preventive, and acute healthcare services to patients.
- Conduct histories and physical examinations, prescribe medications, and provide medical treatments based on best practice standards.
- Educate and advise patients on medical issues as needed.
- Refer patients to internal or external medical resources or specialties as required.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of medical care and monitor patient progress.
- Participate in the development of annual health center goals and objectives.
- Maintain accurate medical records using electronic medical record software.
- Formulate and administer health programs as needed.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited medical school.
- Experience in primary care, urgent care, or emergency room settings.
- Licensed to practice medicine in the state where the site is located.
- Board certification in Occupational Medicine, Internal Medicine, Family Practice, Primary Care, or Emergency Medicine by the AOA or ABMS, or board eligibility in these areas.
- Current certification in AHA or ARC Basic Life Support for healthcare providers.
- Medical Review Officer (MRO) certification may be required for some positions.
