We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty member to teach English Composition courses at the Annandale Campus of Danville Community College. The successful candidate will be responsible for effectively planning and teaching courses in a classroom environment to students with a variety of academic backgrounds and experiences.

• Teach English Composition courses during daytime, evening, and/or Saturday hours
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to meet the needs of diverse students
• Assess student learning outcomes and provide constructive feedback
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development

• Masters degree in English or related field
• 18 graduate semester hours in English
• Teaching experience in English Composition at the college or high school level
• Experience with instructional technologies and learning management systems
• Ability to work with a diverse student population
• Successful passing of a criminal background check

• Teaching experience in online or hybrid environments
• Experience with curriculum development and assessment
• Knowledge of instructional design principles and best practices
