Brazilian Portuguese Interpreter

Job Summary:

CyraCom is seeking an experienced Independent Contractor Interpreter to facilitate interpretation sessions for clients in a professional and focused manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide accurate and complete interpretation services for clients.
• Utilize necessary equipment to ensure high-quality interpretation.
• Maintain a high level of skill, proficiency, and professionalism in interpreting.
• Ensure confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive information.

Requirements:

• Interpretation experience in medical, court, or government settings.
• Professional interpreter certification or training.
• Fluency in English and Brazilian Portuguese.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Two- to four-year degree in interpretation or a related field.
• Experience in relevant areas other than interpretation.

Compensation:

$0.40/min, varying based on experience, dialects, and interpreter certifications.

Independent Contractor Status:

CyraCom will not employ the selected candidate as an employee but rather as an independent contractor, providing language interpretation services on an IRS Form 1099 basis.
