CHIEF BANKING OFFICER - Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to define strategic objectives, manage risks, and deliver sustainable value to stakeholders;
  • Drive loan and deposit growth through effective planning and implementation of targeted strategies;
  • Lead teams in commercial banking, residential lending, and treasury management to align with the organization's long-term vision, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability;
  • Set and achieve annual growth targets for loans and deposits, consistently exceeding performance expectations;
  • Build and maintain relationships with key commercial clients to enhance portfolio growth and address complex challenges;
  • Design and launch products and services tailored to the specific needs of commercial banking clients;
  • Identify potential credit risks early and manage problem loans effectively;
  • Oversee customer experience initiatives to ensure high service standards and support;
  • Manage product pricing and features for loans and deposits, participating in the Bank's Asset-Liability Committee to ensure competitive positioning and profitability.
Qualifications for the Chief Banking Officer:
  • Proven executive-level experience in commercial lending, with a strong understanding of residential lending and treasury management;
  • A minimum of 10 years in progressive commercial banking roles, with a Bachelor's degree in business or a related field;
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills;
  • Strong leadership capabilities with a track record in strategic planning and execution;
  • Experience leading customer-focused sales teams with a successful history of business development;
  • In-depth knowledge of asset-liability management and experience in pricing commercial deposit products;
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively.
