Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to work with our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in radiologic technology and experience working with minimally invasive procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians with minimally invasive procedures, including angioplasty and biopsies
- Operate imaging equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
- Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining the procedure and positioning the patient
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all safety protocols
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements:
- Current certification as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
- 2+ years of experience in radiologic technology, preferably in an interventional radiology setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including days and evenings
