Job Title: Commercial Roofing Estimator

Nations Roof LLC is seeking a skilled Commercial Roofing Estimator to join our team. As a Commercial Roofing Estimator, you will be responsible for selling, pricing, and negotiating contracts for commercial roof projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Estimate and compile bids for commercial roof projects
  • Make site visits to collect bidding information and/or from plans/specs for new/re-roof projects
  • Obtain quotes from vendors and subcontractors by specifying materials and negotiating prices
  • Review and prepare proposed project bids in accordance with company bidding procedures
  • Participate in pre and post-review project meetings
  • Complete project closeout documents
  • Cultivate customer relationships to win profitable repeat business
  • Maintain communication with project contacts throughout the project
Requirements:
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
  • At least 5 years of experience estimating complex commercial/industrial roof system projects
  • Currently living in the New York area and ability to commute daily to Yonkers, NY office
  • Advanced knowledge of commercial/industrial roofing system design and installation code compliance
  • Proficient with database estimating digitizer computerized estimating software
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word
  • Valid drivers license and insurable driving record
