About the Role:
The Flexographic Press Operator is a critical member of our production team at Multi-Color Corporation MCC, responsible for ensuring the highest quality labels are produced while maintaining efficient press operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to all plant and corporate safety rules, procedures, and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Report any safety concerns or issues to the immediate supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area by completing daily housekeeping assignments.
- Complete make-ready tasks in accordance with job tickets and product specifications to ensure accurate print settings.
- Perform quality checks related to product specifications, visual, and functional checks, and complete all press-side quality checks.
- Operate the press to produce product in accordance with customer specifications while maintaining quality, waste, and press efficiency.
- Ensure consistent quality during production runs, with critical quality checks including copy, color, and registration, and ink adhesion.
- Complete all related procedures, work instructions, and quality measurements as outlined in the BRC standard.
- Perform press maintenance duties, including cleaning and lubricating the press as needed.
- Input required information into the GlobeTek system for material usage and time in an accurate and prompt manner.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in flexographic printing is required.
