Key Responsibilities
- Execute tasks outlined in the repair order efficiently and in line with dealership standards.
- Conduct test drives and assess vehicle components and systems using diagnostic tools and specialized equipment.
- Identify, maintain, and repair various automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
- Engage with the Service Advisor to keep customers informed about any additional services required and provide time estimates for further repairs.
- Perform warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Service Technician is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent; ASE Certification is mandatory.
- Proficient in B level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair.
- Strong manual dexterity and excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to utilize electronic diagnostic tools.
- Outstanding customer service abilities and basic computer skills.
- A positive and friendly demeanor, with a willingness to learn and improve.
- A collaborative team player who thrives in a dynamic setting.
- Capacity to adapt to new technologies, repair methods, and specifications.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
