Job Summary

The Housekeeper at the Hampton Inn & Suites Pueblo-Southgate is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of guest rooms, hallways, and public areas. This role requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Follow company and brand procedures for cleaning and preparing guest rooms.
  • Complete pre-cleaning duties, including stocking guest supplies and cleaning supplies.
  • Remove trash and dirty linen from guest rooms.
  • Perform repetitive duties, such as bed making and bathroom cleaning.
  • Replace bed linens and replenish guest room supplies.
  • Conduct deep cleaning activities as needed, in conjunction with the maintenance department.
  • Interact with guests and team members in a friendly and service-oriented manner.
  • Maintain regular attendance and adhere to company and brand standards of personal appearance and grooming.
  • Thoroughly clean and restock the required number of guest rooms as assigned per shift.
  • Complete special requests made by guests or other departments on behalf of guests.
  • Report any maintenance issues or lost and found items to supervisor or manager.
Requirements
  • Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Must have the ability to communicate effectively and clearly.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Physical ability to stand/walk the entire shift and perform repetitive motions.
  • Ability to work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.
  • Flexible schedule with availability to work days, nights, holidays, and weekends based on hotel demands.
