Observation Unit Clinical Nurse Coordinator Position

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse Coordinator to join our Observation Unit team at TriStar Summit Medical Center. As a Clinical Nurse Coordinator, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care and coordinating all functions in the unit.
Responsibilities
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Partnering with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high-quality patient care.
- Assisting with admission and discharge processes.
- Partnering with subject matter experts and leadership to support improved outcomes and service.
- Providing coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance and engagement.
- Assisting with staff scheduling.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Registered Nurse degree.
- A Bachelor's degree.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
- ACLS certification within 30 days of hire.
- NIHSS Stroke Certification within 30 days of hire.
