Job Summary

This position provides back-up support to the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager, and is responsible for staff management and training, sales, production, merchandising, and signage.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in managing retail store operations to achieve store revenue and expense goals.
  • Provide back-up support to the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager.
  • Manage staff and volunteers, including training, coaching, and counseling.
  • Ensure compliance with all Loomis Safe procedures.
  • Prepare daily reports as needed.
  • Interact and communicate effectively with management, co-workers, clients, and the public.
  • Model the highest ethical standards.
  • Promote a safe working environment.
  • Assist in ensuring associates understand and comply with agency policies and procedures.
  • Work overtime as required.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Six months retail sales experience in a Goodwill of Orange County retail store, including cashiering, preferred.
  • Ability to stand for 7-8 hours per day.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Flexibility to work varying schedules, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to work overtime during peak periods or as required.
  • Ability to speak English effectively to communicate with customers, supervisors, clients, and coworkers.
